It was about five years ago in Idomeni, that the idea of creating a small radio station in the camp came up. Stories and words on the move, all broadcasted on the network which has no borders. This is how NoBorder Radio was born, and since then it has continued to travel from the south to the north of Europe.
Five years later, that same microphone is back on the Balkan route to once again collect the voices and emotions of those who have just taken that route or those who still haven’t left it. Unique subjects, with different stories, but all subjected to the violence of a Europe that doesn’t want them.
We are on the Croatian-Bosnian border, near the razor wire wall that runs from Bihać to Velika Kladuša. Music echoes through the mountains near Šturlić: between songs and dances, someone brave takes the mic and tells his story.
